  • Most orders are processed within 24–48 hours (Monday–Friday)
  • You’ll receive an email with tracking details once your order ships.
  • Orders placed on weekends or holidays may ship the next business day.
  • Most deliveries arrive smoothly, but delays can happen due to holidays, carrier interruptions, or busy seasons.
  • Shipping times are estimates and may vary based on location and carrier conditions.
  • We currently ship within the contiguous U.S. (lower 48 states only)

  • Just $4.99, or free on orders $99 and above.
  • Some Economy methods may have limited tracking updates.
  • Not available for vaccine orders.
  • A few items may include additional freight, handling, or expedited vaccine shipping charges.

Standard Shipping

A quicker option when you want things to arrive a little sooner.

  • Delivery typically takes 3–7 business days.
  • Available as a $2 upgrade at checkout.
  • Oversized freight, handling, pack-and-weigh, and expedited vaccine shipping charges may still apply.

Either way, we focus on getting your order out quickly so it’s on the way without delay.

Vaccines need a bit more thought when it comes to shipping, and we’ve made it simple to choose what works best.

Next Day Air

When timing matters most, this is the quickest and most reliable option.

  • Delivery typically takes approximately 1 day.
  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.
  • Delivery time begins after your order is processed and shipped.
  • Ships Monday through Thursday.
  • Orders placed from Thursday after 2:00 PM CST through Sunday will ship the next business day (Monday).

2nd Day Air

A dependable option when you need a bit more flexibility.

  • Delivery typically takes approximately 2 days, when available.
  • Shipping rates are calculated at checkout based on your location.
  • Delivery time begins after processing and shipment.
  • Ships Monday through Wednesday.
  • Orders placed Thursday through Sunday ship the next business day.

At Petzooks, we take vaccine integrity seriously. Each order is carefully stored, packed, and shipped with the right processes in place to help protect its safety and effectiveness, just the way we’d want it for our own pets.

Choosing the Right Shipping

When it comes to vaccines, faster delivery helps protect their effectiveness.

  • We strongly recommend Next Day Air to help protect the effectiveness of vaccines.
  • It helps maintain safe temperatures during transit.
  • You can choose your shipping option at checkout.

A little note from us: If you choose standard ground shipping, you take responsibility for any issues, including vaccines arriving warm or losing effectiveness.

How We Pack and Ship Vaccines

We pack every vaccine order with your pet in mind, taking extra care to help it arrive safely and ready when you need it.

  • Ships within the contiguous U.S. (lower 48) via UPS.
  • Delivered to a physical address only (no PO boxes).
  • Packed in an insulated cooler with one ice pack to help keep things at the right temperature.
  • Extra ice packs and upgraded coolers are available at an affordable cost for added peace of mind.
  • Only Next Day Air orders may ship on Thursdays.
  • Orders placed before 1:00 PM CST on Thursday may arrive on Friday via Next Day Air.

A Few Helpful Things to Know

Just a few quick notes to keep everything smooth:

  • Vaccines do not ship on Fridays.
  • Orders placed Friday–Sunday ship the next business day (Monday).
  • Non-vaccine orders placed before the Friday cut-off ship as usual.
  • Free shipping does not apply to vaccine orders due to the special handling, temperature control, and expedited shipping for safety and effectiveness.
  • Service and expedited vaccine shipping charges may still apply.
  • Orders with vaccine and non-vaccine items may ship separately.
  • Vaccines are non-returnable and non-refundable.

Every order is packed with your pet in mind. We work with trusted partners who specialize in pet supplies, so everything is handled properly and shipped efficiently, even if items arrive from different locations.

If Your Order Doesn’t Show Up

We don’t like missing packages any more than you do.
If your order shows delivered but you don’t see it, or if it seems delayed, let us know. We’ll work with the carrier to help figure it out.
